Which apartment to buy in Verbier?
Verbier’s apartment market covers very different needs. Studios and one-bedroom apartments make an ideal pied-à-terre in the heart of the resort. Two- to four-bedroom apartments suit families. Penthouses and top-floor apartments offer volume, character and open views, while ground-floor and garden apartments give direct access to the outdoors, summer and winter.
Depending on your plans, you may prefer a renovated apartment ready to move into, or a furnished apartment, convenient for a second home. Proximity to Médran and the lifts, to the centre and the Place Centrale, or the quiet of residential areas such as Les Esserts often guides the choice.
Buying a condominium (PPE): what to know
In Verbier, most apartments are sold as condominium units, known in Switzerland as PPE (propriété par étages). You own your unit and share ownership of the building’s common areas. Before buying, it is worth reviewing the condominium regulations, the renovation fund and the annual charges: we help you gather and analyse these documents.
As with chalets, second-home status and the rules for foreign buyers (Lex Weber and Lex Koller) must be checked for each property. Our team tells you clearly what is possible before you make an offer.
Your Verbier apartment, even off-market
Some apartments are sold discreetly, without public listing. If you have not yet found the right property, give us a search mandate: we will present the opportunities that match your criteria, including off-market ones.
